New Instructors Join Our Staff

    The Petersen Art Center is pleased to welcome two new instructors to our staff. Bonnie Merrill is teaching Impressionist Watercolor and Marni Wishart is instructing our young first through third grade artists and will also be an instructor for our summer workshops for kids.

     Bonnie Merrill brings the same approach to watercolor that has proven so popular in our Impressionist Oil Painting classes. Harold Petersen called her "one of the most gifted artist I know."

     Marni Wishart comes to our programs for children from the prestigious Virginia Museum of Fine Arts where she developed innovative art classes and programs for children for the past five years.
